South Newton Middle School’s Advanced STEM class and STEM Club had an incredible experience visiting the Challenger Learning Center of Northwest Indiana! Students participated in a simulated space mission, building teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills while applying real-world STEM concepts. It was an engaging, hands-on opportunity that inspired curiosity and a deeper interest in future STEM careers.

Elementary School Supply Kits will once again be available for purchase for the 2026–27 school year! ✏️📚

All orders must be placed online 💻, and kits will be ready for pick-up at school during Kick-Off Night on August 11, 2026 🎉🏫.

Open to students in Grades 5–12 participating in sports

These exams are sports health screenings. If any concerns arise, students may be referred to their primary care provider or another health care specialist for further evaluation before full participation clearance.
