Middle School ELA Newsletter for the week of May 5, 2025.
Our 8th graders participated in our yearly Freshman boot camp, led by high school student leaders with Mrs. Robbins and Miss Barrett. They learned a lot of information about high school today, did a lot of team bonding, worked on career goals, wrote a letter to their “senior self,” and even got to spend some time in the sun!
It was a great day, and we are very excited to welcome the Class of 2029 to SNHS next year!
Our student leaders did an amazing job helping out all day and creating a great learning experience for the 8th graders!

This event wouldn't be possible without the collective efforts of our incredible staff. Their willingness to step in and support our students reflects the true spirit of teamwork and commitment that makes our school so special. On behalf of the science department, we appreciate everything you did to help make this event a success.
We have a few open spaces for 6th and 7th grade summer school students. Parents interested in having their students participate in summer school, June 2 - 27, should email Mrs. Mulligan: mulligant@newton.k12.in.us to see if their child is eligible.

It's not too late to sign up!! SN Student Council is hosting its final blood drive of the school year on Tuesday, April 22!!
