Tonight South Newton High School will have the parent informational meeting for the Body Safety program scheduled for Thursday. The Fall Sports Banquet is tomorrow at 6:30. You are reminded to bring your own place settings. The school will provide milk and coffee. FR/SO should bring a main dish, JR/SR a dessert or side.
There will not be a JV basketball game this Friday at Covington. The varsity will now start at 5:30 CST.
Come out and support our boys basketball team on Thursday, November 16 at 5:00 as they scrimmage West Central. Entry into the game is $6 a ticket or four non-perishable food items. Donations will go towards Christmas food baskets for West Central families.
The South Newton Fall Sports Banquet will be Nov. 8th at 6:30. Freshman snd sophomores should bring a main dish. Juniors and seniors a dessert or side dish. Coffee and milk will be provided. A representative from Neff will be here if you would like to order patches.

On Nov. 9th, South Newton High School will be conducting our annual Body Safety program. Sara Hoyt from Dunebrook will present to each grade-level class. The students were given a paper copy of the attached opt-out form for those guardians who do not want their students to participate in the program. Those opt-out forms need to be returned by Wednesday, Nov. 8th to Mr. Keller in the high school office. We will have a parent Zoom meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 8th at 6pm for interested parents. Mr. Keller will share that link next week. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Keller. Thanks!

The football team will play Bowman Academy in first round sectional play @ 7:00 CDT this Friday. Tickets are $7 and pre-school children will be admitted free. THERE ARE NO PASSOUTS. As a reminder banners, artificial noise makes, posters are not allowed.
Congratulations to Stephen Hershberger and Macyn Dyer for advancing to cross country regional at New Prairie this Saturday. Boys race will start at 10:30 Central / 11:30 Eastern time and will be followed by the Girls race at 11:15am Central / 12:15pm Eastern.

The high school published student report cards for the 1st quarter this morning. These can be accessed through the PowerSchool parent portal on the desktop. Click on Student Reports on the left and the option for Report Card should appear.
