Our FFA members had a fantastic day competing in the District I Winter Contests, showcasing their technical skills, communication abilities, and dedication. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and the results they brought home!
🔧 Small Engines CDE
Students competed using industry-based skills, including engine assembly, parts ID, diagnostics, and problem-solving.

Our FFA members competed in the District I Welding Career Development Event on Saturday, showcasing their skills in safety, arc welding, equipment setup, and technical knowledge. This event challenged students to apply the welding competencies they have learned in the classroom to meet real-world industry expectations.
Beginner Division
– David Selvage & Bradley Gaylord placed 2nd as a team and will advance to the State Event on January 17th. David placed 3rd individually!
– Elizabeth Tebo & Aliviah Shuee placed 5th as a team and will advance to the State Event on January 17th. Elizabeth also placed 5th individually!
– Harper Napier & Sophie Hudak competed, with Harper placing 4th individually.
– Koleton Frederick & Myles Wittenborn also had a strong showing in the beginner division.
Advanced Division
– Grayson Hartman & Ryder Deardurff represented us in the advanced category and demonstrated excellent skill in both arc and MIG welding.
We are incredibly proud of all our competitors for their hard work. Congratulations to our State qualifiers and best of luck in January!





The following students entered photos in the Prairie Arts Council annual photography show “Celebrating Photography and the Wonder of Trees!” Macyn Dyer, Hannah Schoenbeck, Kristin Rokicki, Hannah Henderson, Ashlynn Kopka, and Keysaunay Cox.
Congratulations to Macyn Dyer for winning the Juror’s Choice award for $50 and Ashlynn Kopka for winning the Award of Merit for $25.
