Parents/Guardians/Students,
We are quickly approaching the end of the school year, which means we are entering Graduation season! I am proud of every one of our Seniors for the work they have completed to get to this point. I am attaching an updated schedule of Senior events as a reminder of the important dates as they approach. We have one major date change: the Baccalaureate and Senior Scholarship Awards Night has been moved to Wednesday, May 13th. The Baccalaureate will start at 5pm, and the Scholarship Awards will start at 6pm. This move has been made so that there are no conflicts with postseason athletic schedules and other events that are happening at the school. I apologize for any inconvenience, but this allows all of the students to be able to participate and is our best option.
If you are interested in seeing the promenade on Tuesday, 5/26, we ask that you check into the High School Office via Door 5. We will allow parents and guardians to stand and take pictures outside the office as the Seniors finish their walk.
If you have any questions, please reach out to me. Thanks, and I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at all of the events, and especially at Graduation on Sunday, May 31st, at 1pm!

📅 Wednesday, May 13th
⏰ 6:00 PM (CST) - following the Baccalaureate Service
📍 High School Auditorium
We look forward to recognizing the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments of the Class of 2026. Families, friends, and community members are all invited to attend and celebrate our graduates!

Today, we celebrate the caring professional who keeps our students safe, healthy, and ready to learn. From treating everyday bumps and bruises to providing comfort, support, and critical care, our school nurse plays an essential role in the success of our schools.
Please join us in showing appreciation for our incredible school nurse! 👏🍎

Today, we celebrate the incredible educators who play such a vital role in shaping the future. Teachers do far more than deliver lessons—they inspire curiosity, build confidence, and guide our children toward becoming thoughtful, capable leaders.
With patience, dedication, and genuine care, teachers help mold young minds and provide steady support each day. Families place immense trust in them, and their influence reaches far beyond the classroom.
No matter where life takes us, each of us can point to a teacher who made a difference—someone who encouraged us, challenged us, and believed in our potential. Their impact lives on in every profession, every achievement, and every success story.
Take a moment today to reflect on the teachers who have shaped your journey—and if you can, reach out and say thank you. Their work matters more than words can express.

A big thank you to Mr. Montemayer and Miss Pizano for organizing and chaperoning such a fun and memorable experience for our seniors. Moments like these are what make the journey so special—congratulations to the Class of 2026 as you finish strong! 🎓

Today, we recognize and celebrate the incredible leaders who guide our schools with dedication, compassion, and vision. Our principals wear many hats each day—mentor, problem-solver, encourager, and leader—and do so to ensure our students and staff succeed.
Join us in showing appreciation for our amazing principals today! 👏🍎

Today, we celebrate the incredible individuals who keep our students nourished and ready to learn each day! From early mornings to busy lunch periods, our cafeteria staff works tirelessly to serve meals with care, kindness, and a smile.
Thank you for creating a welcoming environment, ensuring every student is fed, and being such an important part of our school community. Your hard work does not go unnoticed—we appreciate you today and every day! 💙

Meet our magical little Merlin! ✨🐾
At just 8 weeks old, Merlin officially began his journey TODAY to become our full-time facility therapy dog! He’s an Australian Labradoodle (expected to be around 35 lbs.), a breed specifically developed for therapy work—and he’s already proving he’s something special.
Merlin recently passed his temperament test with a near-perfect score—something that rarely happens. While a score of 170 qualifies a dog for therapy work and 190 is considered exceptional, Merlin scored an incredible 195! 🌟
Not only is he talented, but he’s also one of the rarest coat colors produced by his breeders—making him just as unique as he is gifted. He truly lives up to his magical name!
Thanks to the support of a grant, Merlin will be joining our schools this October as our newest facility therapy dog. ❤️🖤
Thank you for your patience as we searched for the perfect match for our school. We can’t wait to see the positive impact Merlin will have on our students, staff, and community!

Today, we celebrate the dedicated school bus drivers who safely transport our students each and every day. Rain or shine, you are there with a steady hand, a watchful eye, and a friendly greeting to start and end the school day.
Did you know? Every day, 484,041 school buses transport more than 27 million school children in the United States!
