"South Newton High School is proud to announce Stephanie Berenda of Earl Park as this week's Student of the Week!  Stephanie is the daughter of Wade and Amanda Berenda.  She has been active in FFA for six years, Student Council for four years, Spanish Club for four years, Interact Club for three years, SADD for two years, Bring Change to Mind for two years, and 4-H for ten years.  Stephanie currently serves as the Senior Class President, a role she has held all four years in high school.  She has also served as the FFA Chapter President and is currently the District One President.  Stephanie was recently named as the winner of the Lilly Scholarship and has been nominated as a Presidential Scholar.  Stephanie plans to major in Agribusiness: Pre-Law in college, attend law school, and become an agricultural attorney.  Congratulations, Stephanie!"
