Lunch Menus & Cafeteria information

Student Accounts are Pre-pay Only
On line payment available by logging on to Harmony. Please be aware that this process could take additional time (up to 2 days) to process. Students will be able to view their account balance as they come through the line, or they may ask the cashier at any time. You may check your child’s account by logging on to Harmony. Look under “student activity” to view
individual items purchased.All accounts must be prepaid.  Students will not be allowed to pay the cashier during breakfast or lunch service.  All money must be turned in to the office in the morning.   Envelope must include student’s name and ID# number.

THERE IS NO CHARGING PERMITTED!! Students are informed when their account reaches a balance of $5.00 or less, so that they have time to make a deposit before reaching a negative balance. Students with a negative balance will not be allowed to purchase a la carte items, but will be given a peanut butter sandwich meal.

Elementary Parents - Lunch notices and balances will not be sent home on a paper form.  Negative balance notices will be sent home by e-mail notification.  Students will be told each day when their accounts are getting low or drop below $5.00.  If a child owes money they will not receive a hot lunch until their account is brought current.  They will receive a peanut butter sandwich and milk at the cost of $ 1.00.  If you would like to check on your students balance, please call Christine Barce, 219-474-5167 Ext. 137 or the Elementary Cafeteria at 219-474-5167 Ext. 350.  You may also check your child’s Harmony account on line on the South Newton web site.
